Netflix is seeking talented Distributed Systems Engineers (L5) to build and optimize the content creation and distribution processes. This role involves scaling the production of movies and TV series, impacting their global impact. The team focuses on providing infrastructure, technical leadership, and developer experience to meet the needs of diverse engineering teams within the studio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in crafting complex distributed systems
  • Proficient experience with Java, C#, or other OO programming languages
  • Solid experience in architecting, building, and operating distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and performance.
  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Participation in on-call rotation and lead incident reviews.
