We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to join our early-stage FinTech!

At Navro, our mission is to redefine global payments for online businesses, helping them to thrive in the digital economy. Based remotely in the UK or Poland the Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master will be central to shaping our ways of working and overall delivery approach, and will be an active contributor in building a resilient, high-performing, and diverse team.

Who we are

We are building the world’s first regulated payments curation layer. By consolidating best-in-class payments infrastructure under our ecosystem, we will enable marketplaces and eCommerce brands to scale their payments operations smoothly around the world.

We are building a workplace that encourages growth, development, and fun. Working in a startup can be both rewarding and challenging, we’ll be with you throughout the highs and lows as one team. We need people who have grit, resilience, a willingness to find solutions, not just problems, and work well within our global team of almost 30 nationalities.

The role: Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master

At Navro, we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to join our team. This role requires someone who is not just a facilitator, but a proactive leader and a hands-on problem solver with a passion for innovative solutions.

As a startup, we are naturally milestone heavy, and fairly new in our practices. One of your responsibilities will be to support us on our journey of agility, without being disruptive to company goals and whilst laying the groundwork for long-term growth. We strive to make little changes, often.

You will be supporting multiple teams who are dedicated and driven, but require regular guidance and support for best practices, JIRA standards, ways of working, and advice to build and get the most out of their metrics. As their Agile Delivery Manger/Scrum Master, you'll have the opportunity to guide and inspire, whilst adapting and enforcing the standards and principles that we already have.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile processes for multiple teams, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring they add value to project delivery.
  • Ensure alignment between product goals and team delivery schedules against a roadmap.
  • Introduce and uphold JIRA standards and agile methodologies, supporting teams to adopt these practices effectively.
  • Coach and mentor teams to utilise metrics to improve their workflow and project outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve any obstacles hindering project delivery, maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure teams are aligned with delivery goals. Focus on enabling teams to be self-sufficient within the constraints of our fast-paced environment.
  • Lead and manage the delivery ensuring all milestones and objectives are met on time and within scope. Prioritise project delivery while gradually integrating Agile practices ensuring all milestones and objectives are met.
  • Identify, assess, and manage team risks and issues.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a high degree of empathy and situational awareness,
  • Has experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or Scrum Master, with a strong track record in delivering complex projects,
  • Is someone enthusiastic about collaborating with and educating the broader organization to enhance our agility,
  • Has a deep understanding of various agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with hands-on experience in Agile transformations and implementation,
  • Can manage multiple projects, ensuring practices are put in place to deliver on time and within scope,
  • Can build strong relationships to unlock the team's potential,
  • Is comfortable to push back when necessary to drive both efficiency and progress
  • Is a true Jira/Confluence power user. Fluency in JQL is a must as we strive to optimise ticket structures and metrics,
  • Experience in Payments or a FinTech business would be a plus
  • Can help foster an environment of psychological safety that enables team members to thrive. This is very important to us, as we are a highly diverse group made up of people from many different ethnicities, religious beliefs, and gender identities.

You may not possess every single required skill listed, and that's perfectly fine! If you have most of them, along with grit, passion, a desire to learn quickly, and the willingness to get stuck in, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits

As part of this role, you will receive the following:

  • You will enjoy 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Volunteering and compassionate leaves
  • Private Healthcare
  • Pension Scheme
  • Company Options Scheme
  • Team socials and two company offsites to different locations
  • Comprehensive, interactive & engaging Training - Leadership, Communication and Presentation Skills, Behavioural Profiling, Conflict Management, etc
  • Career frameworks
  • Working remotely with cross-cultural teams; whilst we love to have you in the coworking space for occasional workshops and team collaboration, you mostly will be working remotely
  • Flexibility surrounding other commitments; within your team we will work around child-care or other appointments you have. We just ask for advance notice!
  • Working in a diverse and inclusive environment where we ensure that our people thrive
