Odoo Developer

We are looking for a versatile professional capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The candidate will be responsible for designing efficient business flows, performing advanced configurations, and acting as the technical liaison between the client and the backend development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client workflows and design solutions that maximize the use of Odoo standard features (Out-of-the-Box) to minimize maintenance costs.
• Identify discrepancies between current business processes and Odoo capabilities; propose workarounds or define clear specifications for custom development.
• Create detailed Functional and Technical Blueprints that translate business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
• Create Odoo modules following OCA conventions to modify views, create custom fields, and adjust menus.
• Design and implement Automated Actions and Server Actions (using basic Python logic) to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Configure complex access rights, Record Rules, and user groups to ensure data security and proper visibility.
• Customize PDF reports (QWeb knowledge is a plus) and email templates to match client branding and data requirements.
• Lead the strategy for data migration, including data cleansing, mapping, and executing complex imports (CSV/Excel) for master data (Products, Contacts, Chart of Accounts, Stock). Deployment: Manage the deployment of databases in Staging and Production environments (Odoo.sh or On-Premise awareness).
• Act as the primary translator between the client and developers, validating that delivered code meets the functional requirements.
• Analyze Server Logs to troubleshoot errors and distinguish between configuration issues and code bugs.
• Provide advanced training to Key Users, focusing on both system usage and basic administration.

• Previous experience in a similar role with Odoo.
• Strong client interaction skills.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Nice to have: Python experience.
