YOUR ROLE AS A PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our team and provide financial guidance and support to the client. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting for the organization. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around managing accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and assisting with month-end financial activities. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain financial transparency and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Perform regular bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling bank statements, managing petty cash, and recording financial transactions.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide management with relevant financial information.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to management, supporting decision-making processes with relevant financial insights.
- Utilize accounting software proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and vendors, regarding financial matters.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance financial processes and procedures.
- Handle financial information with utmost confidentiality and integrity, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is an advantage.
- At least 2 years experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets at least twice a month at a minimum.
