OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA and IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful completion of all IT projects and tickets by utilizing your expertise in quality assurance, IT support, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in testing methodologies, familiarity with Jira, and a passion for delivering high-quality IT solutions.
YOUR ROLE AS QA & IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
As a QA & IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on various IT projects.
- Identify and document software defects and track them to resolution using Jira.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users on IT-related issues.
- Manage IT tickets and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the IT department.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA and IT support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, including Jira.
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress or similar frameworks.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Basic web development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, ITIL) are a plus.

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets at least twice a month at a minimum.
