As the HR Tech Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and development of our human resources systems and tools with a focus on the Employee Central module. You will be responsible for overseeing the Employee Central module product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, and beyond. Your focus will be on delivering innovative solutions for the hire to retire process to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience of our HR systems, ultimately supporting the company's overall mission and People Team goals.

This role will be based remotely in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy for HR systems aligned with company objectives and industry best practices. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and innovation opportunities in HR technology
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build relationships with the MongoDB People team, influence/drive decision-making, and become a trusted advisor
  • Product Roadmap: Define and maintain a clear product roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, upcoming releases, prioritize product backlogs, and deliverables for the development and enhancement of HR systems
  • Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, admins, BSA’s, and other stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of high-quality scalable solutions
  • User Experience: Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that HR systems are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs of diverse user groups.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of HR systems with relevant regulations and standards
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and partners involved in the development, integration, or maintenance of HR systems
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor industry trends, user feedback, conduct retros, and internal processes to identify areas for improvement and drive ongoing enhancements to HR systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven track record of at least 8+ years of experience in SuccessFactors product management. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, enterprise level global projects, drive consensus, and inspire a shared vision for product development.
  • Deep understanding of HR business processes, and systems, with expertise in areas such as HRIS, Onboarding, talent management, integrations, and reporting
  • Deep domain knowledge in the SuccessFactors Employee Central module and ‘hire to retire’ process including core HR, timeoff, integrations, workflows, reporting, security (RBP), data privacy (PII,GDPR), global/local templates, Doc Gen, MDF objects, Position Management, and Onboarding
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management best practices

Success Measures:

  • In 3 months you’ll have fully ramped up on TechOps HR Tech processes, familiarized with our HR Tech stack, identified process improvements, gained a deep understanding of HRIS products, and built relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • In 6 months you’ll have taken complete ownership of executing, driving, and leading strategy for Successfactors modules and supporting your delivery teams and business stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop product roadmaps outlining enhancements based on customer needs; Build strong relationships with our People team and process owners; Additionally, you will work with engineering teams to develop prototypes and MVP’s aligned with a prioritized roadmap
  • In 12 months you’ll have taken a leadership role overseeing the launch of new features and enhancements, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective rollout and customer communication; Monitor user adoption of new features and gather feedback from customers to iterate on the product and prioritize future enhancements; Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of the HRIS product, such as user engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$136,000—$206,000 USD
