Position Summary Metrea’s Solutions team is searching for a junior Commercial Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of Metrea. This individual will work closely with senior Solutions and Commercial professionals, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the field. Key responsibilities include market research, lead generation, cold calling, and participating in client meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The role will report to the Head of Commercial (US).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in enterprise CRM pipeline management.
- Assist in high-priority leads and opportunities.
- Assist in event management functions, including logistics, personnel coordination, and financial tracking.
- Coordinate with Pipeline Development Managers to ensure key file documentation is current.
- Coordinate customer engagements for key Solutions and Commercial personnel.
- Monitor inquiries through the Metrea website.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technology developments.

Essential Functions Statement:

Work Environment
This job operates in multiple settings including office and non-tradition field environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
