About the Role
We are looking for an experienced React / Next.js Developer to build high-performance, scalable web applications. This is a remote, full-time role working closely with a UK-based development team.
- Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript - Build reusable, scalable, and well-structured front-end components
Integrate applications with REST APIs and headless CMS (Payload CMS or similar) - Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO
Follow SOLID principles and clean architecture standards - Ensure front-end code meets OWASP security best practices
Participate in code reviews and continuous codebase improvements - Collaborate with the UK team on feature planning and delivery
- Join stand-ups, sprint planning, and progress reviews
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients when required
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in React and Next.js development
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React Hooks, and component lifecycle
- Solid knowledge and experience working with accessibility and headless CMS (Payload CMS, Strapi, or similar)
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling OAuth authentication
Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL - Proficient in Git and Docker-based development workflows
- Solid understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility
- Awareness of web security standards (OWASP)
Prepare to answer the following questions based on your experience:● What is your experience with Payload CMS (or similar)● When would you use server-side vs client-side rendered components?● What security measures would you ensure were in place when rolling out a headless CMS?
