Requirements
- Plan, design, and build the core infrastructure systems used by Jack Henry's development and engineering teams.
- Debug critical production infrastructure issues impacting multiple services or sites, performing deep root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Design and operate systems with a strong focus on site health and reliability, enabling automated workload movement and failure avoidance.
- Use software development skills (e.g., Go, Python) to build and enhance platform solutions that improve developer velocity and accelerate feature delivery.
- Act as a proactive collaborator and emerging technical leader, promoting engineering best practices and guiding peers in areas such as design and coding standards.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to understand priorities and evolving needs, ensuring platform solutions keep pace with product development.
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive them to successful completion.
