United States onlySenior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer: Deployments position at Jack Henry. The role involves building and operating core systems for scalable, reliable delivery of application and infrastructure services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The team collaborates with platform teams and product engineering teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure services. The position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. What you'll be responsible for: Plan, design, and build infrastructure systems, debug critical production infrastructure issues, design and operate systems with a strong focus on site health and reliability, use software development skills to build platform solutions, and act as a proactive collaborator and emerging technical leader.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Development, DevOps or with Cloud Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure in kubernetes clusters
- Practical experience in declarative service infrastructure environments, specifically using Terraform
- Experience in GCP, Azure or AWS cloud environment
- Production programming experience and proficiency in Go or Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Github Actions or CircleCI
- Deep familiarity with operating in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment
