Professional Learning Lead, Texas

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, is seeking a Professional Learning Lead to manage the Texas regional team within the Professional Learning Group.

As a Professional Learning Lead, Texas, you’ll lead, manage, and motivate a regional team of Professional Learning Specialists and Implementation Specialists. You’ll oversee all professional development and implementation support for the Texas region. In addition to managing a team, you will also deliver high-quality professional learning sessions (virtual and on-site) and services with a focus on supporting district administrators, building principals, and other school leaders.

You must be highly organized, focused, creative, well-spoken, strategic, and have a desire to lead and develop a collaborative, high-energy team.

This is a full time remote position for candidates living in Texas only.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Maintain high standards of quality for the team’s work
• Keep a pulse on all large district implementations and opportunities within the region
• Create a culture of learning and collaboration across the various positions on the team
• Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to customers to drive customer engagement and usage of IXL– up to 40% possible travel
• Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation
• Use data to drive decision-making and strategize
• Partner with the sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships within the region

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of educational professional development experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience teaching in a K-12 setting
• School or district administration experience preferred
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
