We are driven by the vision to make blockchain more discoverable and accessible globally, empowering users with information they can trust. Founded in 2014 by Sam Kazemian and Theodor Forselius in a UCLA dorm room, with Travis Moore joining early on as a Co-founder and the company's first Chief Technology Officer, our journey began with the ambition to create an "encyclopedia of everything." This vision evolved, and in 2018, we became the world's first blockchain encyclopedia after launching the IQ token. This transformation underscored our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to build a comprehensive knowledge base. For full transparency, every edit on IQ.wiki is recorded on the Polygon blockchain, with transaction hashes stored on-chain, and data and images are stored on the IPFS network.

Our culture is one of innovation and community. We believe in the power of decentralized knowledge and democratic governance, with IQ token stakers governing and moderating the platform. The IQ token is central to our ecosystem, serving as the utility token for the encyclopedia. In 2022, we rebranded from Everipedia to IQ.wiki to emphasize the integral role of the IQ token and cryptocurrency. We further embraced innovation by integrating artificial intelligence, launching AIDEN in 2023, the first AI agent for blockchain knowledge, trained using IQ.wiki's extensive database and other reputable sources. Our team is dedicated to developing an ecosystem of AI dapps built around the IQ token, working to enhance IQ.wiki, IQ.social, and AIDEN, and launching new products like IQ Code for smart contract auditing and coding.
