The Delivery Manager is responsible to enable predictable flow across platform, CMS, content tracks and other streams by orchestrating planning, dependencies, and impediment removal—without owning backlogs—so squads hit outcomes with quality; track OpCo content-readiness plans and drive cross-company follow-up. Maintain a clear, live view of progress to solution ready (incl. feature-content readiness).
Key tasks involve:
Provide proactive visibility and effectively communicate delivery targets, commitments and progress.
Management and tracking of cross-team/squad dependencies.
Constantly look to identify impediments early, actively work to resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed.
Management and tracking of all commitments.
Maintain a single feature–content–readiness tracker (by OpCo/title/feature) and coordinate cross-company follow-ups.
Work to minimize meetings and ceremonies, but when they are needed, they are well-run and efficient.
Drive gate readiness: coordinate Solution-Ready milestone.
Monitor flow metrics (lead time, throughput, WIP, predictability) including content-readiness predictability; coach continuous improvement.
