United States onlyWe are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team of leaders in control and power system integration and engineering. The position involves designing control systems, programming PLC and HMI software tools, and commissioning control systems. Travel up to 75% may be required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, and a minimum of 4 years' experience in control systems and startup/commissioning.
Requirements
- Design of control systems including network architecture, cause and effect diagrams, control philosophy, SCADA maps, and programming of control systems
- Startup/commissioning of control systems within continental US
- Experience with pipeline and/or oil and gas processing, low and medium voltage controls, and ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, and pass a fit for duty physical exam
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic random drug tests, and a pre-employment criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa
