At the heart of Hopelab is a culture deeply rooted in the belief that young people possess an undeniable power to shape the future. We are a social innovation lab and impact investor dedicated to advancing the mental health and well-being of teens and young adults, with a specific focus on equity for Black, Brown, and Queer youth. Our work is driven by the conviction that health and well-being can be improved by harnessing the positive motivation that creates and supports behavior change, and that the toughest health challenges can be addressed with scientific rigor, innovative design, and empathy.

We operate as 'Compassionate Optimists,' unwavering in our pursuit of a more compassionate world. We believe that joy and hope are radical tools in today's world, fueling possibility and innovation. Our team is composed of 'Expansive Learners' and 'Relationship Builders' who bridge sectors and disciplines, believing that systems change must start with authentic connection. We center equity in all facets of our work, recognizing that dismantling systems of oppression benefits everyone. By co-creating with young people and shifting power to them, we aim to build a future where all young people have equitable opportunities to live joyful and purposeful lives.
