On GFiber's Billing team, you'll work in a collaborative environment that helps ensure consistent and accurate billing experience for our existing customers, while supporting new plans and features for our future GFiber customers.

Role Description

The Billing Payments Operations Manager serves as the primary operational and functional support for our new independent payments process. In this role, you will define detailed payments system requirements and configurations, daily payments processing support, and own vendor relationships with our payment gateways and credit card networks. You’ll ensure billing and revenue assurance with minimal impact to customers by proactively identifying and triaging billing system issues in collaboration with the internal teams (Billing Operations, Finance, and Engineering) and third-party vendors. Your responsibilities will include daily payment run monitoring, review of daily payment reconciliation, collaboration with finance on settlement reporting, and optimization of our payment processing and credit card network fees.

In this role, you'll:

  • Define system configurations for new billing system integrations with payment gateways.
  • Own business relationship with a new payment gateway vendor.
  • Triage payment processing and operational issues and partner with internal teams and vendors for resolutions.
  • Execute credit card and interbank electronic funds transfer network agreements and other providers as needed.
  • Manage GFiber forms of payment (FOP) strategy.
  • Track payment gateway, interchange and scheme fees and propose solutions for cost and operational optimizations.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, card network rules and other standards to serve as a subject matter expert and ensure compliance with network rules.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor degree in business, finance, or operations.
  • 5 years managing payment operations or similar role experience.
  • Experience in B2C with an emphasis on recurring subscription billing.
  • Experience with Zuora, Adyen, and/or similar solutions.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience with Zuora Billing and payment gateway integrations.
  • Experience with card schemes, bank, and payment gateway experience(preferably with Adyen).
  • Experience managing payments partnerships.
  • Experience with billing transformation programs.
  • Experience with billing and customer operations.
  • Experience in cable, wireless, or telecom industries that use subscription services

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $139,000 - $203,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
