About your role:

We seek a Senior Direct Response Copywriter to join the Creative Team and produce clear, captivating, and persuasive short-form copy to describe and sell our offerings.

Your team:

You’ll be working with designers and video producers, collaborating with marketers, and reporting to the Head of Creative.

The Senior Direct Response Copywriter will get to:

  • As the Senior Direct Response Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of highly converting copy across multiple channels
  • Persuasive and creative copy that inspires people to:
    • Take action on the prompts, calls-to-action, and opportunities we present to them | KPI = Click-through rates
    • Follow through on the primary actions we’ve asked of them | KPI = Conversion rates
    • Captivating copy that conveys value, benefits, and brand values while also generating a “warm glow” and joy for our audiences, writing that they WANT to read. | KPI = Engagement rates

To be successful in this role, you’ll also:

  • Develop persuasive and compelling copy for various channels, including email campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, advertisements, sales collateral, and social media
  • Work closely with the marketing team, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions
  • Ensure that all copy aligns with our brand voice, accurately represents our products, and maintains consistency across all touchpoints 
  • Collaborate with designers and video producers to create visual assets that complement written copy and support overall messaging strategies
  • Conduct thorough research to understand customer pain points, desires, and motivations to inform persuasive copy
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of copy across different channels, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Your experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 4 years minimum experience with a proven track record as a copywriter with a focus on sales, direct response, and demand generation
  • Extensive portfolio showcasing your previous work
  • Exceptional understanding of creative process, marketing principles, consumer behavior, and industry trends
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible with changing demands
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a strong bonus along with experience in the fields of philanthropy, charity, or religion
