Our Client is a global manufacturer and distributor of veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal health products, operating across more than 80 countries. With 10 manufacturing sites and 8 R&D centres worldwide, we are headquartered in Dublin and are committed to delivering quality, innovation, and operational excellence in the animal health sector.

Our Group Tax function sits within the broader Finance division and is responsible for tax compliance, transfer pricing governance, advisory support, and risk management across both the Bimeda and Sterimol perimeters of the Group. The function is led by the Group Head of Tax and Group Tax Director and interfaces with local finance controllers, external advisors, and Group leadership across all major jurisdictions.

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically capable Tax FP&A Analyst to provide dedicated data support to the Group Tax function. This is a technically focused role centred on the interrogation, validation, collation, and structuring of financial data to support transfer pricing compliance, intercompany debt monitoring, statutory reporting, and tax filing processes.

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in transfer pricing data management, multinational tax compliance support, and financial data analysis within an international or shared services environment. A working knowledge of OECD transfer pricing principles and an ability to extract meaningful outputs from complex datasets are essential.

This is not a generalist FP&A role. The successful candidate will be embedded within the Group Tax team and will be expected to build deep familiarity with the Group’s legal entity structure, intercompany flows, and compliance calendar.

Key Responsibilities

Transfer Pricing Data Management
  • Maintain and update the Group’s intercompany transaction database, ensuring all intra-group flows (goods, services, royalties, financing) are accurately recorded and categorised.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of net margin per product and perentity profitability analyses required for transactional net margin method (TNMM) and other TP benchmarking exercises.
  • Collate and structure the financial inputs required for the annual Local File and Master File preparation, working alongside external advisors (KPMG and PwC) as directed by the Group Tax team. Prepare first draft local files for review.
  • Monitor and report on intercompany pricing versus approved policy positions, flagging deviations for review.
  • Assist in the preparation of comparables data extracts and functional analysis supporting documentation.
Intercompany Debt Register
  • Maintain a comprehensive and current intercompany debt register covering all intra-group loans across both Group perimeters (Bimeda and Sterimol).
  • Track principal balances, interest rates, maturity dates, and currency exposures across all intercompany financing arrangements.
  • Reconcile loan balances against underlying loan agreements and flag discrepancies for resolution.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for intercompany interest calculations and support withholding tax monitoring in relevant jurisdictions.
Tax Compliance Support
  • Support the Group Tax team in managing the global tax compliance calendar across all jurisdictions, tracking deadlines and ensuring relevant financial data is assembled in advance.
  • Prepare and maintain entity-level financial data packs required for local corporation tax filings, ensuring consistency with statutory accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of tax provision data, supporting both the Bimeda and Sterimol provisioning processes.
  • Maintain the Rolling Tax Computation Summary, updating actuals and flagging variances for review by the Group Tax Director.
  • Compile financial data required for responses to tax authority queries and audit information requests, under the direction of the Group Tax team.
Data Interrogation and Reporting
  • Interrogate large and complex financial datasets from multiple source systems (ERP, consolidation tools, management accounts) to extract tax-relevant data.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across entities, currencies, and reporting periods.
  • Build and maintain structured Excel-based models and trackers aligned to the Group Tax function’s document suite and governance framework.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured outputs for review by PC and ROR, including exception reports, trend analyses, and compliance dashboards.
Local Controller Interface
  • Liaise with local Financial Controllers across the Group to collect trial balance data, statutory accounts, and other financial inputs required for tax purposes.
  • Follow up on outstanding data requests in a structured and professional manner, escalating delays to the Group Tax team as appropriate.
  • Support the standardisation of data collection templates and processes across the Group.
Candidate Profile – Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a tax, transfer pricing, or finance analyst role within a multinational, Big 4, or shared services environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting transfer pricing compliance –including data gathering for Local Files, benchmarking support, or intercompany transaction documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex multi-sheet modelling.
  • Experience maintaining or managing intercompany debt registers or equivalent structured financial tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with OECD transfer pricing principles and the arm’s length standard.
  • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and process discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills – ability to produce clear outputs for senior tax professionals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and proactively flag issues.
Candidate Profile – Desirable
  • Exposure to multinational tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar) and extracting data for tax or finance purposes.
  • Familiarity with tax provisioning processes or IFRS/GAAP tax reporting.
  • Prior experience in an offshore or remote shared services model supporting a Western-headquartered organisation.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing sectors.
