Philippines onlyWe are seeking a highly organized Accounting Analyst to support core accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries.
- Post manual cash journal entries and resolve refunds and payment transactions collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Maintain and update accounting records.
- Support month-end and year-end close with accruals, prepaids, adjustments and reconciliations.
- Prepare bank account reconciliations.
- Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts.
- Research and correct account discrepancies.
- Report to accounting manager and suggest process improvements.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles
- Experience using NetSuite or comparable ERP systems preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful, self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Curious mindset with the confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
