Job Description Summary

The Director, Commercial Excellence will drive sales excellence practices and operations for our Enterprise Solutions (ES) team. Role is responsible for driving consistency, standardization and execution of sales discipline, cadence, processes, and capabilities deployment across ES.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead creation of roadmap, business case and user requirements for Healthcare Financial Services (HFS) commercial tools (SFDC, LEAP)
  • Serve as HFS functional SME for HFS SFDC, Touchless, and other commercial tools and initiatives
  • Lead efforts to create and improve HFS commercial processes and represent commercial team on cross-HFS initiatives
  • Lead team that creates regular HFS commercial reporting and analysis.
  • Drive the development, implementation and adoption of commercial sales management processes and related tools for use by Enterprise Solutions (ES)
  • Facilitate and lead sales disciplines, cadence, capability enhancements and standardization of account management, funnel management, forecasting, and sales processes
  • Determine and monitor performance of commercial KPI metrics
  • Inspect, coach, and enforce practical utilization of sales processes using interactive analytics to generate actionable insights and training that can be used to improve selling behavior and exceed overall performance goals
  • Use Lean to drive problem-solving, reduce lead times, reduce defects, create user-centered processes and daily management
  • Leverage change acceleration process across team, region, and function to drive changes
  • Communicate changes and progress against plans, and manage stakeholder input and expectations cross-functionally and through different levels
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in Sales, Operations, or related field; or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience in Sales, Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%
  • Ability to work effectively from a remote home office location

  • Sales Funneling: Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches, as well as, manage a project funnel across a large team to meet objective
  • Influencing Capabilities: Ability to work with and influence fellow team members to achieve mutual goals
  • Technology skills: experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Workday, etc.
  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Process improvement: Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
  • Clear thinking / problem-solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills: experience working across multiple levels (including senior executive-level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $142,720.00-$214,080.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
