Job Description Summary

As the Remote Clinical Support Team Leader, you will report to the AKA Applications Leader, where your role includes providing online remote clinical support, Channel Partner ultrasound training and managing a team of national remote clinical applications specialists supporting our ultrasound business segments of Women’s Health, General Imaging, Point of Care, Primary Care and Cardiovascular Ultrasound .

As the Remote Clinical Support Team Leader you will foster an environment that achieves exceptional ultrasound Channel Partner training outcomes, including ongoing life cycle value, success management, and standardization. Provide comprehensive leadership to enhance day-to-day confidence within remote clinical support teams. The individual will be a thought leader who effectively communicates and drives growth in the region across value creation and delivery. You will have strong partnerships with product segment leaders to build a culture of collaboration and results.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead virtual demonstrations and equipment briefings of all ultrasound products for customers, including potential uses, product features, and customer benefits, and collaborate with clinical leaders in each segment.
  • Coordinate, schedule and execute e-learning training systems for channel partners. Monitor and manage training results.
  • Develop and execute an action plan to drive sales of remote clinical support products and services. Plan partner and customer briefing sessions and conduct product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of remote support.
  • Builds long-term customer relationships with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately meet customer needs. Maintain positive and productive after-sales relationships to periodically upsell products and services.
  • Utilizes positive leadership of direct reports to guide personal growth and career development.
  • Drive performance management within the team by providing regular operational mechanisms for feedback and coaching.
  • Responsible for holding regular “on-site coaching” sessions with application team members. For example, how to differentiate and present the value of your product and how to understand your market. Provide regular, timely and productive development feedback.
  • Mentor behavioral leadership traits of humility, transparency and focus across application teams.
  • Drive business results and manage customer relationships within the region in Korea.
  • Develop strong commercial relationships and build a strong account community to act as an interface for clinical applications to ensure profitable growth and maintenance of the installed base.
  • Lead inclusive team communication and sharing of best practices within the region and across the business (Imaging, LCS, Ultrasound).
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, creating an environment that reduces employee attrition and promotes organizational stability.
  • Maintain or implement quality management systems and applicable processes as part of EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safety-first and quality mindset within the team.
  • Drive financial and customer satisfaction performance indicators for assigned modalities/sectors.
  • Support the transformation of clinical education at the forefront of customer experience throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments on New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and role assignments.
  • Participates in customer escalation and product improvement by form/department.
  • Role model for the team in leveraging GEHC resources and networks to create and manage opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with minimum of 7 years experience as a sonographer / applications / sales specialist.
  • Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills.
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward-thinking and customer-first attitude.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within Korea to meet business and customer needs.
  • Proven experience leading a team, managing customer relationships, and ability to manage business performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, self-directed, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues, and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers).
  • Act with optimism, humility, and hustle.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mentality to drive change management
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers and internal team / direct reports in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.
