Capital Markets Intern

About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Analyst to support our Capital Markets team. As part of the team, you will play an active role throughout the lifecycle of transactions with well known industry leading investors; from origination through to execution and ongoing management. The successful applicant will assist with the on-boarding of new institutional investors as well as taking ownership of key projects that will require working closely with the Legal, Risk and Technology teams across the wider business.

What you need to be successful:

• You have a Bachelor or Master from a prestigious university in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field

• Ideally, you have already gained experience in the financial services industry (Bank, FinTech, etc.) or in consulting

Skills:

• You have excellent English language skills (German is a nice-to-have)

• Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, recommend and implement solutions

• Familiarity with Fixed Income products and cash flow modeling

• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

• Confident, presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders

• Project management skills

• Expertise in data analysis using SQL to query and manipulate large datasets

• Proficiency in creating insightful reports, visualizations and presentations
