Technical Requirements
Programming / Automation
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Familiarity with Selenium and other automation frameworks
Test Design Techniques
- Experience with equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and exploratory testing
API Testing Tools
- Experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
SQL
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
Cross-Browser Testing
- Strong knowledge of browser/device compatibility testing
Agile Methodologies
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Defect Management
- Skilled in bug tracking, reporting, and prioritization
Regression & UAT
- Strong experience in regression cycles and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication for bug reports, documentation, and stakeholder interaction
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Apply test design techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and exploratory testing
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
- Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to enhance automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium)
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure application compatibility
- Plan and execute regression testing cycles
- Validate backend processes and ensure data integrity through SQL queries
- Report, track, and document defects clearly and efficiently
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside business stakeholders
- Contribute to requirement analysis, reviewing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives
- Maintain and continuously improve test documentation and test case management processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members
- Collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Familiarity with requirement analysis processes
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
