At Enroute, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for building scalable service integrations that truly make an impact. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to design, orchestrate, and maintain integrations that connect our client’s cloud-based systems with third-party services.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain secure and reliable integrations with third-party APIs
• Ensure seamless synchronization of data across multiple systems
• Collaborate in architecture decisions for integration services
• Support and monitor integration performance to maintain a healthy ecosystem
• Bring best practices in code quality, testing (TDD) and cloud-driven development

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years developing 100% backend with TypeScript + Node.js (NestJS)
• Strong experience with unit testing / TDD
• Experience integrating with third-party financial services (payments, banking APIs, etc.)
• Familiarity working with cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
• Solid knowledge of SQL-based databases
• Advanced English: C1

Nice-to-haves

• React or other frontend framework experience
• AWS hands-on knowledge
• SRE / observability basics
