TITLE: Senior Director, Systems & Data Analytics

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Director, Systems & Data Analytics, is responsible for setting the strategic direction and vision for the development and execution of Duck Creek Technologies' systems and data analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing the company's data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL processes, and integration frameworks, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with subject matter experts across all departments to understand business requirements, identify data opportunities, and deliver actionable insights through user-friendly dashboards and reports. As a people manager, this role includes leading and mentoring a team of professionals to achieve high standards of performance and innovation in data analytics.

• Set strategic direction and vision for the company's systems and data analytics initiatives.
• Align data analytics initiatives with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL processes, and integration frameworks.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with SMEs across all departments to understand business requirements.
• Identify data opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop and manage easy-to-consume dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
• Lead a team of data professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Implement data governance and data management best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, data management processes, and data analytics capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and systems management.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve strategic goals.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

• Degree preferred or equivalent years of practical job experience in a similar function or role.
• 9+ years of applicable experience with 5+ years supervisory and strategic leadership experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Snowflake, PowerBI).
