DSI Systems Inc., an authorized AT&T Representative partner, has an immediate career opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to fill one of our critical roles as a Project Manager.

Are you passionate about planning and ensuring that projects are completed within approved parameters? Do you have a talent for identifying potential risks and developing strategies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Project Manager.

As a Project Manager at DSI, you will play a crucial part in planning, executing, and closing projects related to our business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the sales team, upper management, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly with AT&T services, is highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed according to schedule
    • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to minimize their impact
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners
    • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and address any concerns promptly
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality checks before project completion
  • Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within approved financial parameters
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change orders, and other relevant records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
    • PMP certification is a plus!
  • Proven experience of 3+ in project management within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and AT&T services is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive projects to successful completion
