Responsibilities:
- Using novel telehealth technology with a team of mobile health clinicians, provide professional and competent medical care to patients of all ages assigned by Corporation within Independent Contractor’s scope of licensure using best practices and otherwise consistent with applicable law, regulations, and Corporation policies.
- Demonstrate passion for the purpose of serving underrepresented populations.
- Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion while prioritizing customer service.
- Participate in ongoing professional activities including continuing education and clinical quality initiatives
- Maintain professional interaction(s) with medical staff, including other physicians, APPs, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and first responders at all events and sites.
- Maintain patient medical records and medical documentation consistent with state regulations, Corporation standards, and accepted standards of care
- Prescribe medication as permitted by your state prescribing authority.
- Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you are licensed
- Such other duties and responsibilities may be determined by the Corporation
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold active, unrestricted provider license(s) in CA or NY
- Must hold active Board Certification
- Minimum 2 years documented experience in primary care as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with at least 1 year using a telehealth platform
- Must be licensed or be willing to obtain additional state licenses where DocGo sees patients
- Complete/Up-to-date CAQH profile at time of application
- Previously enrolled with Medicare, Medicaid, or both
Highly Desirable Qualities:
- Experience using Tytocare & Athena EHR
- Knowledge of HEDIS measures and requirements to close care gaps
- Experience practicing autonomously within scope of licensure
- Ability to develop treatment plans that engage at-risk patient populations and encourage compliance with necessary screenings, immunizations, and medical care
- Experience in healthcare for all stages of life (pediatric through geriatric)
