ABOUT THE TDP
The Technology Development Program (TDP) will expose you to key areas of the Data Science and/or the Data & Analytics Engineering spaces to learn via practical application and on-the-job training. The TDP is a rotational program in which you will complete no less than three 5-month rotations on various teams supporting our Data Science and Data & Analytics Engineering initiatives. This is a full-time exempt role with an annual salary, bonus, as well as full benefits package. The TDP provides experiences that will allow you to: develop functional and leadership skills by working alongside experts within your teams, gain exposure to cross-functional areas of our business, contribute to the business initiatives and activities prioritized by your teams, and interact with teammates across all levels of the organization, including Senior Executives. Upon completing this 15-18 month structured program, you will be placed into a full-time role based on business need, as well as your overall performance throughout the rotations and specific areas of interest.
ABOUT THESE TRACKS
The TDP provides custom experiences for individuals with a variety of backgrounds in the technology space, including software engineering, cyber security, and data science. There are two specific tracks within the Data Science space that TDPs may explore: Data Science and Data & Analytics Engineering. The rotations in each of these tracks will be different, with separate objectives and long-term goals. Upon submitting an application, individuals will be placed in one of these tracks based on background, education, experience, and interest.
DATA SCIENCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Data-driven Product and Service Improvement
Research data from digital product/service performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for product/service improvement with guidance from other teammates.
Advanced and Predictive Analytics
Run advanced and predictive analyses and perform model assessments, validation, and enhancement activities, using predictive analytics' software tools and functionalities.
Advanced Data Collection and Analysis
Conduct advanced data collection and analysis using pre-set tools, methods and formats.
Data Exploration
Work independently to collate and analyze data using predetermined tools, methods, and formats to create standard insights.
Data and Analytics Strategy
Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy.
Performance Improvement through Business Intelligence
Support creation of machine learning models by applying standard statistical analysis or data preparation methods.
Data Architecture
Consult and support the education of stakeholders on methods for streamlining and standardizing data recording to ensure quality and accuracy.
Functional/Technical Requirements
Understands business functional requirements using document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
Machine Learning Operations
Learn to use source control systems and write prod supportable code. Learn the concepts of deploying machine learning models within a machine learning platform. Research machine learning libraries and models.
Horizon Scanning
Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues.
Ongoing Learning and Development
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
DATA & ANALYTICS ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Movement & Architecture
Learn to design distribution of basic data movement and provide physical modeling and design services to tune solutions for optimum performance. Learn the basics of data architecture and data platforms.
Data Modeling & Visualization
Learn the basics for data modeling and is able to implement best practices for data visualization. Design performant data models using SQL and BI development tools with supervision
Functional/Technical Requirements
Collaborate and work as part of an Agile team with Product Managers, Analysts, and Data & Analytics Engineers to understand data and business needs. Translate technical and business concepts and apply to data and BI solutions.
Program/Portfolio Management Support
Learn to work within an established program management plan to achieve specific goals. Support and maintain production processes and effectively troubleshoots issues.
Analysis of Current vs. Future State
Support and contribute to the documentation of Current vs. Future state processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the future capability to record accurately the change required.
Ongoing Learning and Development
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level preferred
General Experience: Sound experience and understanding ofstraightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
