This role is remote but based in Bulgaria. Applicants must reside in Bulgaria and have a valid right to work in the country. Dext does not provide visa or work-permit sponsorship for this position.

You will contribute to the data foundations that support reporting, operational insights, and strategic decision making across Dext.

This position is part of Dext’s data function, working closely with teams across the business to deliver reliable, well-structured analytics and reporting capabilities.
You will partner with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations to understand data needs and help drive data-informed decisions.

What you’ll do
- Build and maintain high-quality data models that support reporting and analytics across the business
- Transform and model new data sources using dbt, aligning with our data strategy and modelling standards
- Partner with teams across the company to understand their data needs and enable data-driven decision making
- Write clean, scalable SQL and contribute to sustainable, well-structured analytics code
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics engineering standards, documentation, and development workflows
What do we seek
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who enjoys working with data to solve real business problems and build reliable analytics foundations.
You are comfortable working with modern data tooling and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You care about clarity, maintainability, and enabling others through trusted data.
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have strong SQL skills
- Have experience with data modelling and using dbt
- Have experience working with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse
- Understand Git and collaborative Git-based workflows
- Have experience using macros or reusable patterns to improve analytics code quality and consistency
- Can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Approach problems with curiosity and practical judgement
