Business Analyst – Developer Experience & Mac Modernization

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support two strategic initiatives: Developer Experience and Mac & Mobile Enhancements.

This role will focus on improving developer productivity, tooling, and platform stability, while also supporting the migration of macOS devices from Jamf to Microsoft Intune. The ideal candidate has experience with Apple ecosystems and understands developer workflows, tools, and enterprise device management environments.

You will act as a bridge between engineering, product, IT, and business stakeholders to drive clarity, efficiency, and structured delivery.

Project Context

Developer Experience Project

The goal is to equip developers with secure, efficient, and flexible solutions for writing, building, and debugging applications using enterprise-managed devices.

The challenge is to balance performance, usability, and security, while operating within established management and governance frameworks.

Mac & Mobile Enhancements Project

This initiative focuses on migrating macOS devices from Jamf to Microsoft Intune, including user devices, packages, software, and configurations.

All devices must be migrated by March 2026. After migration, enhanced Intune capabilities (e.g., Managed Apple Accounts) will be deployed across the macOS user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product, and IT teams to analyze current developer workflows

• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to the end-to-end developer experience

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications

• Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and structured analysis sessions

• Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to ensure reliability, security, and scalability

• Support data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes

• Assist Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers with stakeholder alignment and change management

• Support BAU topics and ensure structured transition into operational environments

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in technical or platform-driven environments

• Familiarity with macOS and iOS ecosystems

• Understanding of developer workflows, tooling, and CI/CD environments

• Experience improving developer productivity or internal platforms

• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into structured business requirements

• Experience with collaboration and documentation tools (Confluence, Draw.io, O365)

• Data analysis and reporting capabilities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune or enterprise device management

• Exposure to Jamf environments

• Experience working with SRE or DevOps teams

• Background in enterprise security or governance frameworks
