Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Desktop Engineer to design, implement, and optimize high-performance remote desktop solutions for a multi-4K trading environment.
This role focuses on delivering ultra-low latency, high-resolution remote access infrastructure capable of supporting real-time market data visualization and GPU-accelerated workloads. You will play a key role in ensuring performance, scalability, security, and operational stability in a mission-critical financial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation
Architect and deploy high-performance remote desktop solutions for multi-4K trading setups
Evaluate and implement solutions such as Citrix, RDP, Mechdyne TGX, HP Anyware (Teradici PCoIP) or equivalent technologies
Optimize GPU acceleration (e.g., NVIDIA GRID, AMD vGPU) to improve remote rendering performance
Implement network optimizations for low-latency, high-bandwidth applications
Design and maintain scalable, secure remote access infrastructure
Performance & Optimization
Ensure real-time market data visualization with minimal compression loss
Configure multi-4K monitor environments with optimal frame rates
Perform load testing, failover planning, and redundancy configurations
Troubleshoot WAN performance, bandwidth efficiency, and display streaming quality
Continuously monitor and enhance latency and rendering performance
Security & Compliance
Implement secure authentication mechanisms (MFA, Active Directory, Zero Trust principles)
Ensure compliance with financial industry security and data privacy standards
Manage secure remote control and out-of-band access solutions
Support & Maintenance
Provide technical support to trading users
Proactively monitor system health and performance metrics
Resolve connectivity, latency, and rendering issues
Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with enterprise remote desktop solutions (Citrix, RDP, Teradici/PCoIP, etc.)
Experience with GPU virtualization and acceleration technologies
Solid understanding of networking principles, especially low-latency WAN optimization
Experience working in performance-critical environments (trading, financial services, media, etc.)
Knowledge of authentication systems (MFA, AD integration, Zero Trust)
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Nice to Have
Experience in trading or financial market environments
Knowledge of high-resolution multi-monitor setups (4K+)
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
Experience with redundancy and disaster recovery planning
