Job (Project) Description:

We are seeking a versatile SAP BW Consultant who combines functional analysis with technical development expertise for a cutting-edge data platform migration. This unique role sits at the convergence of traditional SAP Business Warehouse architecture and modern cloud analytics. You will be the critical translator between legacy BW data models and our Databricks Lakehouse Platform, ensuring that complex ETL logic, business transformations, and analytical structures are faithfully reimagined for cloud-scale performance.

In this position, you'll reverse-engineer BW DataSources and InfoProviders, translate transformation routines into modern data pipelines, and architect the migration of enterprise data warehousing to cloud-native infrastructure. Requirements:

7+ years SAP BW/4HANA implementation experience;
Strong functional understanding of BW architecture and data flows;
Technical BW development skills (DataSources, transformations, InfoProviders);

BW DataSource creation and maintenance;

HANA-optimized InfoProviders and composite providers;
BW Query and Analysis for Office (optional but preferred);
Experience with BW-HANA integration and HANA-optimized models;
Knowledge of delta extraction mechanisms and error handling;
Previous BW-to-cloud migration experience highly preferred;

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement SAP BW data warehouse architectures and data models;
Develop ETL processes using BW DataSources, transformations, and InfoProviders;
Create and optimize BW queries, reports, and analytical applications;
Create complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and table functions;
Configure delta extraction mechanisms and process chains for automated data loading;
Design and develop SAP HANA calculation views and analytical models;
Support BW-HANA integration and migration to HANA-optimized objects;
Develop technical documentation and data mapping specifications;
Provide performance tuning and optimization recommendations;
