System Adminitrator

Cronos Europa is seeking a System Administrator to maintain and review its IT systems' technical architecture, assisting with IT aspects of work related to data analysis and visualisation through GIS and statistical software.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Server Operating systems Windows/Linux and Apache webserver
• Good knowledge of Windows-based user environments, notably of Group Policies and registry settings management;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365's applications management and administration
• Good understanding of IT security matters
• Works in team effectively and ready to represent the unit in technical IT meetings
• Knowledge of programming languages, scripting languages such as like Python, Bash and Windows JScript/VBScript, SQL and procedural languages (in Oracle or PostgreSQL) is an advantage
• Experience with HTML/Javascript (OpenLayers libraries) or developing interactive charts with the Highcharts library is an advantage
• Experience with Amazon Cloud is an advantage
• Basic experience with ESRI GIS mapping software or other GIS software or with statistical software such as R is an advantage
• Knowledge of versioning tools (GIT, SVN, Gitlab) is an asset
• Knowledge of DIGIT IT ecosystem and procedures is a definite asset
