In April 2023, a significant milestone was achieved when the Canadian Pacific Railway merged with the Kansas City Southern Railway to form Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), marking the inception of the first and only single-line rail network to span the entirety of North America. This unique infrastructure allows CPKC to provide innovative and efficient freight transportation services, seamlessly linking key markets across the continent.
