Our client, a forefront technology company in the finance sector, is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer. This role is integral to translating machine learning insights into actionable trading strategies, involving work on trading infrastructure, computing, data processing, and model development. The successful candidate will act as a technical leader, driving projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead and collaborate on software projects encompassing trading infrastructure, data management, and more.
Design and implement fault-tolerant distributed systems and large-scale data infrastructure.
Serve as a technical leader for both research and engineering staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Linux environment focusing on performance and concurrency using languages like Python, Go, or C/C++.
Experience with performance optimization, multi-threading, and server development.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Location: Remote in the US or Canada
