The Role
The organization is seeking experienced software engineers to join their engineering team, which currently includes a diverse group of talented individuals. This role involves working closely with the product, design, and content teams to develop features that enhance the learning experience for users. Engineers will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including interactive learning interfaces, backend architecture, and product development, contributing to the platform's evolution.
Responsibilities:
Develop new features from conception to completion, enhancing the learning experience for users worldwide.
Maintain a holistic view of both technical and business aspects, ensuring the development of relevant and high-quality features.
Exercise autonomy within a supportive team environment, contributing to a culture of excellence and mutual accountability.
Advocate for initiatives that improve the engineering team's developer experience and the platform's user experience.
Who You Are:
An experienced software engineer with at least 4 years of professional experience, motivated by solving user problems.
Skilled across the software development stack, with a passion for owning feature implementations end-to-end.
A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving with engineers, product managers, and designers.
Knowledgeable about various languages and frameworks, with a preference for using the right tool for the job.
Possibly experienced with Elm, Django, or GraphQL, filling important skill gaps on the current team.
Thoughtful about product design and user experience, with clear opinions on what makes a product delightful.
