About the Role:
As an AWS DevOps Engineer at CloudKubed, you’ll play a pivotal role designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll leverage your expertise in AWS services and DevOps best practices to drive efficiency, and reliability across our clients’ environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support key customers to design, evolve and improve product roadmaps.
- Assist customers in provisioning cloud-based infrastructure services and developing platform environments.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to continuously define and refine requirements.
- Architect and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack solutions.
- Work collaboratively within software development lifecycle established processes and ways of working. You’ll be familiar with tools such as Jira.
- Design and develop server-side logic using Python to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub for automated testing and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance and build CloudKubed engineering practices and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on AWS-related initiatives.
Requirements
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience designing solutions using AWS products and services.
- Knowledge of the Well-Architected framework
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Service Catalogue.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, container networking and storage management.
- GitHub Actions and Typescript
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A demonstrable growth mindset and a proactive approach towards quality enhancement and continuous improvement.
- AWS certifications preferred but not required.
- SC clearance is required for this role, therefore, candidates with existing SC clearance are highly desirable.
