Business Analyst
We are seeking a meticulous and technically minded Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming defined business needs and concepts, provided through our Business Liaison, into clear, comprehensive, and development-ready technical requirements. You will work closely with the Business Liaison, UI/UX and development to ensure a smooth flow of information to the development team. Your focus will be on detailed specification and documentation, enabling the efficient and accurate development of our solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Business Liaison to understand the business vision, objectives, and high-level requirements.
- Analyze business concepts & needs to translate into detailed functional and non-functional technical requirements.
- Document and maintain well-organized and easily understandable requirements using appropriate formats (e.g., user stories with acceptance criteria, technical specifications, data flow diagrams).
- Partner with the UI/UX team to understand design specifications and ensure technical requirements align with the intended user experience.
- Proactively flag ambiguities, obtain clarifications, and update documentation accordingly.
- Facilitate review sessions with Business & Development to validate accuracy and completeness of requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our requirements documentation standards and processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on technical requirements documentation.
- Proven ability to translate business-level information into detailed technical specifications.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, primarily with the Business Liaison.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with writing API documentation.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database concepts.
