Join our Business Development team as a Business Development Director (Western Europe).
Business Development Director is responsible for direct sales and account management activities of key accounts of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing sales and key account management activities at a company level
- Attracting new key accounts and building strong relationship with them
- Maintaining good relationship with the assigned existing key accounts and ensuring consistent, proactive account management
- Ensuring execution of sales strategy and sales plans
- Oversee filling of RFI questionnaires
- Coordinate RFPs of key accounts
- Coordinate preparation for bid defense meetings and leading them
- Create account plans of key accounts and proactively maintain them
- Ensure completion of the assigned sales goals
- Initiate and lead client meetings
- Represent the company in professional conferences and events
- Maintain company CRM system
Requirements
- Business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with clients in Western Europe
- Good understanding of business development stages such as RFIs, RFPs, and experience in leading bid defence meetings
- In-depth knowledge of the mid-size CRO client base and strategies to attract them
- Deep understanding of the operational aspects of clinical trials and/or pharmacovigilance
- Fluency of English, both, oral and written communication. Knowledge of French language (advantageous)
- Life Sciences, Business or other University degree of relevant field
- Knowledge of sales relevant systems, e.g. Zoho CRM (advantageous)
- Self-confidence, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Teamwork and ownership
- Very good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
