RESPONSIBILITIES

As Business Development Manager (Special Projects) your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for volume growth, ensuring budget and volume targets are achieved and maximise new business.
  • You will be responsible for creating tender agreements and managing supply contracts at various levels with customers.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues in the commercial team to deliver the strategic growth and business plans for the BASF UK Coatings business.
  • You will be responsible for designing sales processes and identify opportunities for growth of sales with key customers within the automotive industry, and developing and maintaining customer relationships for an enhanced customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The successful candidate should ideally be educated to degree level, or have equivalent commercial experience and will have an aptitude for people, products and customers.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated individual, who is extremely customer-focused, has first class negotiation, decision making and communication skills.
  • A full driving license is required as this role will involve a significant amount of travel within the UK (company car provided).

Location: This position is UK home-based, with an option to work from our Stockport office depending on your location
