Description

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Technical Product Manager, you will serve as the execution engine for the Product and Engineering teams - bridging strategy with delivery. You’ll work closely with the VP of Product to align priorities and timelines, and partner with Engineering Leads to ensure smooth Agile ceremonies and sprint execution. You'll play a key role in defining and managing the backlog, writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, providing clarifications, and driving the development of MVPs in line with roadmap goals.

You will also lead cross-functional collaboration across design, data, product marketing, sales, legal, risk, finance, account management, and support to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure quality deliverables. A natural problem solver and systems thinker, you’ll identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and scalability - helping us evolve both our products and our implementation processes to meet organizational goals.

AREA OF FOCUS

  • Drive day-to-day execution of features and platform capabilities with Engineering and cross-functional teams

  • Own backlog grooming, story writing, sequencing, and sprint planning activities in collaboration with Product and Engineering

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical stories with a bias for clarity and execution

  • Partner with Engineering Leads to facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove execution roadblocks

  • Champion MVP delivery by defining scope, setting milestones, and ensuring timely releases

  • Identify and champion automation opportunities and AI/ML integrations to improve efficiency and product value

  • Serve as a domain expert in APIs, system architecture, and technical integrations

  • Track progress across engineering pods, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and vendors that align with product innovation goals

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable processes that drive rigor, quality, and efficiency across implementation lifecycles.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with leading & partnering with Engineering teams and solving complex software engineering technical challenges

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management, engineering, or technical consulting.

  • Proven experience delivering complex B2B SaaS or platform-based products on a scale.

  • Strong grasp of APIs, modern system architectures, event-driven design, and distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, and technologies. Experience working with ML pipelines, data models, or LLM integrations is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity, with comfort navigating between high-level strategy and detailed execution.

  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, security best practices, and scalability patterns

  • Solid practical knowledge of web and mobile security platforms and technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Deeply inquisitive with ability to be open to and able to consider innovative approaches

  • Flexible in a fast-paced environment

  • Open to coaching and excited about interacting with the team to evolve the right solutions

  • Maintain awareness of "the next great thing" - topics moving from academic study into engineering production

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • BS Software Engineering, plus 5+ years professional experience

  • Fluency with C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Git & Atlassian

  • Experience with mentoring junior engineers and product owners

  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services

  • Experience with scaling a hyper-growth company

  • Experience in Payments, Fintech, or RegTech domains.

  • Familiarity with MLOps, GPT APIs, or AI-based enrichment/automation frameworks is a strong plus.

  • Passion for innovation and experimentation. You track new trends and bring ideas to life through prototypes or partnerships.

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability. You don’t just track progress - you drive it.
