Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager who is proficient in site development design to become a valued member of our Product Management team. The successful candidate will be an essential part of Bentley Systems' Civil Engineering group, which consists of highly talented professionals who drive company’s one of the biggest and fastest growing businesses. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, has a growth mindset, skillful in prioritization, demonstrated history of creating and implementing strategies, and comfortable working with empowered product teams.

Your Day-to-Day:

• As a subject matter expert, defines, refines and leads the overall product strategy by analyzing industry and user trends.
• Performs discovery and research to understand user needs and problems worth solving.
• Leads low-cost experimentation to develop and validate innovative product capabilities to exceed user expectations.
• Serves as an essential part of empowered product teams and effectively communicates with engineers, UX, quality assurance and product management teams,
• Plays proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the outperforms the competitors.
• Performs competitive analysis to determine product strengths and weaknesses relative to market requirements.
• Proactively manage and communicate the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) and plans with stakeholders, leadership, and senior management transparently.
• Closely follows site design, civil design and construction market trends.
• Monitors and interprets usage trends, projects revenue streams, draw conclusions and recommends business decisions and/or initiatives, accordingly.
• Maintains and communicates future direction of product(s) that leverages existing product success and guarantees market growth.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required with a minimum of 10 years of practical experience or relevant training and experience.

• Proficiency in all types of site development design projects (commercial / industrial / residential / office / etc.)
• Strong experience with site design tools (Bentley and/or others)
• Familiarity with other Bentley software such as MicroStation and ProjectWise is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing and multi-disciplined teams in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated experience in presenting in webinars and user meetings with exceptional communication skills and ability to present complex concepts and strategies to a diverse audience.
• Aptitude to analyze financial or usage data, develop recommendations and project future trends.
• Demonstrated knowledge in civil design codes, standards and guidelines.
• Must be a creative problem solver with interest in emerging technologies.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with various teams throughout the organization.
• This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, remote-based, or hybrid in the US.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
• Ability to travel 5-10% to industry events, user meetings and other Bentley offices.
