Job Description

The Head of People Business Partner for Commercial & Supply Chain is a senior HR leader responsible for aligning People strategies with the goals and priorities of the technology and product development functions. This role involves partnering with tech and product leadership to deliver People solutions that drive innovation, enhance employee engagement, and develop leadership capabilities within these critical areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain credible relationships with functional leadership to understand key organization priorities and capabilities and ensure alignment and commitment in the implementation of people initiatives and projects.
2. Operate as a strategic partner and be the central point of contact to business leaders to ensure
alignment of people activities to specific priorities and provide advice, support and solutions on people matters to ensure organizational capability and leadership capability is built.
3. Coach and mentor business leaders on managing key people challenges, providing guidance and insight to build confidence and capability in people management.
4. Support business leaders in managing transformational change by developing change processes and mitigation strategies to minimize employee impact and maintain business continuity.
5. Oversee complex employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, especially those with cross-border implications.
6. Support business leaders in improving employee engagement, morale, and well-being by cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects Autodoc’s values.
7. Work closely with the other People teams to support the development, rollout, and execution of strategic Talent initiatives such as performance reviews, succession planning, change management, and organizational design. These efforts are designed to cultivate a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.
8. Cultivate an inclusive workplace culture by embedding equitable practices into all People processes.
9. Collaborate across the People Department to ensure processes, policies and solutions meet business needs and are successfully embedded.
10. Leverage management information to identify organizational trends, provide valuable insights on people matters and guide informed decision making. Analyze organizational performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and propose strategic improvements.
11. Coach, motivate, and develop talent to build an effective, capable, and high performing People Business Partner team. Support the transformation efforts in the People Business Partnering function.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    ● At least 10 years of experience in providing proactive and professional People Business Partnering support and advice to senior leaders in Commercial in a highly matrixed and global environment.
    ● Prior experience working in and managing global teams.
    ● Strong business acumen, combining financial knowledge, business operations, HR expertise and an understanding of the talent landscape.
    ● Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
    ● Excellent communication skills, able to confidently engage and challenge s nior leaders.
    ● Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    ● Excellent influencing and coaching skills with the ability to shape sound and balanced people relevant solutions.

● Exceptional change management skills.

  • Exceptional ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
    ● Fluent written and spoken English skills.
