Your main objective is to consult and inspire Autodesk's main customers in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry on their road to digitalization. Partnering with key account managers, our Customer Success organization, and Premium Support Services, you use your expertise in the industry to develop sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with major mechanical engineering and manufacturing accounts in the Nordics, thus affecting not only our growth as the market-leading software vendor for mechanical engineering and manufacturing solutions, but also the transformation of an entire industry.
You will report to the Technical Solutions Manager for DACH and Nordics. You work and exchange knowledge with our team of experts, participate in Autodesk's growth, and make a difference in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry with our innovative cloud-based software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical account strategy by combining your deep industry know-how with our clients' needs and business strategy
- Advocate for the customer within Autodesk by partnering with the product management, consulting, and support organization, to ensure a clear understanding of the customer's environment, challenges, and requirements
- Foster long-term partnerships with customers by aligning the customer's business and technical goals with Autodesk's vision, mission, and strategy
- In your role as a recognized business advisor and by conducting Discovery workshops, inspire your clients in all areas of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, and related disciplines and help them use the potential digitalization creates for their business
- Contribute to Autodesk's knowledge-sharing philosophy by sharing, and promoting best practices in mechanical engineering for redistribution and implementation at a corporate level
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree, education, or equivalent work experience in the Mechanical Engineering or manufacturing industry
- Mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry expertise in the Nordics with a profound understanding of underlying business processes
- Value-focused approach to mechanical engineering and manufacturing challenges
- 3+ years of experience in or interest in a sales-supporting function (presales)
- Comfort speaking in front of large audiences – in both Swedish and English are a must, other language skills a definite plus
- Team-worker willing to try new things and improve
- Knowledge of or interest in the Autodesk solution portfolio (e.g. Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault, Fusion Manage, …)
- Readiness to travel up to 50% of work hours within the region and sometimes internationally
- Work remotely or in the office in Stockholm or Gothenburg
