Job Requisition Summary

Autodesk is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to strategically grow and expand relationships across high-value enterprise accounts. This role is responsible for leading comprehensive account growth strategies, driving incremental revenue, expanding product adoption, and positioning Autodesk as a long-term strategic partner to customers undergoing digital transformation.

The Enterprise Account Executive will own strategic executive relationships, account planning, revenue generation, pipeline management, complex deal negotiations, and orchestration of cross-functional account teams. This role goes beyond execution: it requires the ability to refine and innovate account strategies, influence executive stakeholders, lead high-complexity commercial motions, and drive measurable business outcomes for both Autodesk and the customer.

This role is suited for an experienced enterprise sales leader who can operate with senior decision-makers, navigate complex customer organizations, lead matrixed teams, and create scalable growth opportunities across EBA and non-EBA enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Growth

  • Lead and refine comprehensive growth strategies for assigned enterprise accounts, including EBA and non-EBA customers
  • Develop multi-year strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities, Autodesk growth objectives, and long-term value creation
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities across new business units, buyer groups, personas, and use cases
  • Drive buyer seat expansion and product adoption across complex customer organizations
  • Lead QBRs, executive check-ins, and senior stakeholder engagement to review progress, business outcomes, risks, and future growth opportunities
  • Innovate account strategies that create scalable growth models and influence broader business outcomes

Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management

  • Maximize incremental revenue through upsell, cross-sell, upgraded products, new offerings, and EBA token consumption strategies
  • Own pipeline development, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy for growth, expansion, and renewal opportunities
  • Use data-driven insights to assess account potential, customer spend trends, adoption signals, whitespace, and risk
  • Proactively adjust account tactics based on customer priorities, market changes, competitive dynamics, and business goals
  • Deliver predictable revenue performance while identifying transformational opportunities that support long-term customer and Autodesk growth

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives, senior decision-makers, and key influencers across assigned accounts
  • Adapt communication style to diverse executive audiences and manage challenging conversations with confidence, empathy, and business relevance
  • Act as a trusted advisor by connecting Autodesk capabilities to the customer’s strategic objectives and transformation priorities
  • Develop compelling executive narratives that articulate business value, ROI, competitive differentiation, and long-term partnership opportunities
  • Secure and maintain executive sponsorship for strategic initiatives, commercial agreements, and expansion opportunities

Complex Deal Strategy & Commercial Execution

  • Lead complex enterprise negotiations, including expansions, renewals, multi-year agreements, and high-value commercial structures
  • Build value-based business cases that quantify customer impact and support executive decision-making
  • Navigate procurement, commercial, legal, and stakeholder complexity to progress opportunities and mitigate risk
  • Mentor teams in complex deal negotiations and help shape strategic deal approaches across large enterprise opportunities

Account Team Unit / Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Strategically lead partnerships with the extended sales team, Technical Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Partner teams, and executive stakeholders
  • Orchestrate the Account Team Unit to co-develop scalable, impactful customer solutions
  • Align technical discovery, messaging, value proposition, and commercial strategy to customer needs
  • Drive accountability across internal teams through clear ownership, communication, and execution cadence
  • Ensure seamless post-sale handoff to Customer Success for onboarding, implementation, adoption, and ongoing relationship management
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer challenges and internal alignment issues
  • Partner with Customer Success and Consulting teams to ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes from Autodesk solutions

Industry, Competitive & Business Leadership

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the customer’s industry, business model, transformation priorities, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
  • Translate industry challenges into tailored Autodesk solutions and differentiated value propositions
  • Provide customer and market insights to internal Sales, Product, Strategy, and Marketing teams
  • Influence Autodesk’s go-to-market approach by sharing enterprise customer needs, competitive intelligence, and emerging market opportunities
  • Represent Autodesk as a strategic thought partner in executive-level customer conversations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or consultative business development experience
  • Proven success managing complex enterprise accounts and driving significant revenue growth
  • Experience engaging C-level executives and senior stakeholders across large, matrixed customer organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial negotiations, renewals, expansions, and multi-year enterprise agreements
  • Strong track record of pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and revenue attainment
  • Experience leading cross-functional account teams, including Technical Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Partner, Legal, Finance, and Deal Desk stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, executive communication, and consultative selling skills
