Position Overview :

The Chief of Staff for the VP, Global Renewals Sales is chartered with ensuring the seamless planning inclusive of operational cadence, strategic planning, businessoperationsand execution. This role exists primarily tofacilitatethe transformational and operational initiatives of the Global Renewals Sales Organization.The Chief of Staff performs activities that enable the VP, Global Renewals Sales and Leadership Team tooperateat a higher level of performance, acts as program manager for key cross functional initiatives, and advises on how to bestfacilitateengagement within the organization toaccomplishkeyobjectives. This includes organizing and prioritizing critical issues andrequiredinformation for the VP, program management of key strategic initiatives,facilitateeffective decision-making, acting as a liaison between leadership and other stakeholders, and providing oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. The Chief of Staff also supports the development and tracking of major goals to support broad functional teamobjectives.

This role is 100% remote and can be based inthe United States or Canada.

Global travel requirements will be approximately 20%.

Responsibilities:

To drive alignment ofGlobal Renewals Salespriorities with overall GTM strategy and corporate objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the VP,Global Renewals Sales, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable plans.

  • Provide strategic thought partnership on key initiativesimpactingglobal sales performance, planning, and operational excellence.

  • Lead and program manage strategic initiatives acrossRenewals Leadershipfrom ideation through execution.

  • Own critical initiatives and special projects sponsored by the VP, including high-priority or time-sensitive programs.

  • Design and manage the operating rhythm for theRenewalsorganization, including leadership meetings, strategic reviews, and planning cycles.

  • Lead agenda development, decision tracking, and follow-up for leadership meetings, offsites, and executive forums.

  • Drive governance frameworks for key initiatives, ensuring clarity of ownership, accountability, and progress tracking.

  • Own coordination of the annual strategy and planning process for theRenewalsorganization.

  • Support preparation and orchestration of Quarterly Business Reviews, operational reviews, and executive reporting.

  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Analytics to ensure leadership has clear performance insights and actionable metrics.

  • Improve cross-functional processes and drive operational consistency across teams and regions.

  • Facilitate collaboration between internal stakeholders and GTM leadership to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Lead cascading communications from the VP to the broader organization, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging.

  • Advise leadership team members on internal communications, change management, and initiative rollout.

  • Serve as a liaison between executives, team members, and partner organizations to support alignment, transparency, and team health.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience inprojectmanagement, business operations, or similar fields

  • Experience implementing or scaling a portfolio operating model within a mid-size or large organization

  • Strong working knowledge of program management methodologies and governance practices 

  • Experience partnering with PMO/TMO or equivalent governance groups

  • Demonstrated experienceestablishingor managing team operating rhythms and organizational processes

  • Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives and managing complex projects in high-growth environments. 

  • Expertise in Airtable or comparable no-code/low-code workflow tools, including architecture and automation

  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills, with experience producing executive-ready insights and recommendations

  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities with a proactive mindset and a commitment to driving action.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Experience managing or coaching teams and fostering high performance

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Autodesk GTM functions

  • Strong understanding of sales concepts, terminology, and strategy

  • Expert-level presentation and facilitation skills

  • Able to build and nurture cross-departmental relationships

  • Organized and intensely focused – nothing gets by you

  • Strong work ethic and quality standards

  • Expertproficiencywith Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in go-to-market, transformation, operations, or strategy environments 

  • Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV), go-to-market motions (inbound, outbound, PLG), and subscription business models. 

  • PMP, Agile, or other project/program management certifications 

  • Experience designing oroptimizingprogram management tooling, templates, and governance artifacts

  • Proven success in a program management & coordination role

  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communications

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $117,000 and $210,540. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $0 and $0. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
