US Regulatory Manager

Unchained offers a suite of bitcoin financial services and is seeking a US Regulatory Manager to maintain compliance with U.S. financial services laws and regulations. The role requires 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and a strong working knowledge of U.S. financial services regulations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal/compliance, risk management, or advisory roles within financial services, fintech, payments, lending, or virtual currency businesses
• Experience managing or supporting state-licensed lending and/or money transmission programs
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. financial services regulations, including state lending and money transmission requirements, as well as federal regulations such as Reg E, UDAAP, ECOA, TILA, and E-Sign Act
• BSA/AML concepts relevant to money transmission and virtual currency activities
• Experience implementing internal controls, compliance monitoring and testing, reporting frameworks, and audit/examination readiness programs
• Proven ability to work effectively across Product, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver practical, business-aligned compliance solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into operational controls and actionable guidance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to balance regulatory expectations with business objectives
• Self-driven with strong organizational and project management skills
