ASICS, an acronym for Anima Sana In Corpore Sano (meaning 'A Sound Mind in a Sound Body'), is a Japanese multinational corporation that has been at the forefront of sports footwear and apparel since 1949. Founded by Kihachiro Onitsuka in Kobe, Japan, the company emerged from a post-war vision to uplift spirits through sports and contribute to the revitalization of Japanese society.

Today, ASICS stands as a global leader in athletic performance gear, renowned for its innovative running shoes that incorporate advanced cushioning technologies like GEL.
