Position: Segment Lead Buyer (weldments)

Location: Komorniki, Poznań / fully remote

As the Segment Lead Buyer (weldments) you will be responsible for:

• Development and implementation of strategy for the largest segment of metal fabricated parts in Arjo (weldments)
• Management of strategic suppliers located in Europe
• Creating sourcing development roadmaps based on identified risks and opportunities
• Daily collaboration with team of strategic sourcing teams in Poland, China and Canada
• Leading global sourcing projects (RFI and RFQ / TCO cost-down development)
• Collaboration with R&D centers to build alignment enabling competitive new products portfolio development for Arjo

Skills you will need:

• Ability to lead multinational teams as informal leader
• Coach and share knowledge and expertise with others
• Find business opportunities, organize and drive the agenda
• Build and maintain good relations cross organization
• At least 5 years professional experience in procurement with global scope, while 2-3 years of category management (knowledge of toolbox, cost models)
• Proven track of records in Sourcing / Negotiations / Contract management
• Higher education grade / preferred Business
• Fluent English
• Metal fabrication industry knowledge: market, material , production process will be the additional asset
