The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who understands CPQ beyond configuration: someone who can design scalable quoting architectures, optimize pricing engines, and build high-quality solutions using both declarative and programmatic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize CPQ Core: Product Rules, Price Rules, Bundles, MDQ, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, Approvals.
- Develop CPQ-related customizations using Apex, LWC, SOQL, and integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot complex pricing issues, rule conflicts, template logic, and data dependencies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and customer teams to refine requirements and propose best-practice CPQ solutions.
- Support integrations with ERP/Billing/OMS platforms and validate end-to-end Quote-to-Cash flows.
- Maintain code quality through unit tests and leverage AI tools to accelerate development.
What You Need to Succeed
- 4+ years building on Salesforce.
- 2–3+ years of dedicated, senior-level experience in Salesforce CPQ Core.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification (required).
- Strong expertise in:
- Product & Price Rules
- Bundles & Configuration Attributes
- MDQ & Quote Templates
- Pricing logic and dependency modeling
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL and debugging CPQ logic.
- Experience collaborating with customer-facing and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Billing / Revenue Cloud.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (PD1, App Builder, Sales Cloud, etc.).
- Experience with Copado, Gearset, or similar DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with ERP/OMS integrations.
